Uses:
Advil Extra Strength Caplets provide relief for:

Active Ingredient:

• Ibuprofen 400 mg per caplet (Pain reliever / Fever reducer)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, iron oxides, lecithin (soy), pharmaceutical ink, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch, silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearic acid, talc, titanium dioxide.

Directions:

• Adults and children over 12: Take 1 caplet every 4 hours as needed.
• Do not exceed 3 caplets in 24 hours, unless directed by a physician.
• Not recommended for children 12 and under; they should use Children’s Advil.

Caution:
Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough medicine to seriously harm a child if consumed improperly.

Warnings:
Do not take Advil Extra Strength if you are taking acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), other ibuprofen-containing products, or if you have known allergies to ASA, salicylates, or any of the listed ingredients. Consult a physician before use if you have conditions such as peptic ulcers, high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney or liver disease, or any other serious medical condition, or if you are taking other medications.

Special Precautions:

• Do not take if you are pregnant or nursing unless advised by a physician.
• If pain or fever lasts for more than 5 days, consult a doctor.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose without physician advice.

If any symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, vision changes, fluid retention, skin rash, or any unexplained symptom develop, discontinue use and consult a physician. In case of overdose, contact a poison control center or doctor immediately, even if there are no visible symptoms.
