Nexium 24-Hour Acid Reducer 14 Capsules

Nexium 24HR Acid Reducer contains esomeprazole magnesium, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks acid production at the source, providing 24-hour relief from frequent heartburn. This over-the-counter medication is intended for adults experiencing heartburn two or more days a week. It may take 1 to 4 days for full effect. 

Usage Instructions:

• Adults (18 years and older): Swallow one capsule with a glass of water before eating in the morning.
• Take one capsule daily for 14 days.
• Do not crush or chew the capsule.
• Do not take more than one capsule per day.
• Do not use for more than 14 days unless directed by a doctor.
• A 14-day course may be repeated every four months if needed.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Ingredients:

• Active: Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate 20 mg
• Inactive: Corn starch, D&C Red No. 28, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, ferric oxide, gelatin, glyceryl monostearate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer, pharmaceutical ink, polysorbate 80, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate.

Warnings:

• Do not use if allergic to esomeprazole.
• Consult a doctor before use if you have:
  • Heartburn over three months
  • Frequent chest pain
  • Wheezing, unexplained weight loss, nausea or vomiting, stomach pain
• Stop use and seek medical attention if you experience:
  • Allergic reactions such as skin reddening, blisters, or rash
  • Diarrhea
  • Worsening heartburn
• Keep out of reach of children.
• In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Storage:

• Store at 20–25°C (68–77°F).
