Ingredients

  • Active Ingredients (per mL):

    • Polymyxin B Sulfate: 10,000 units

    • Lidocaine Hydrochloride: 50 mg

  • Inactive Ingredients: Cupric sulfate, hydrochloric acid, propylene glycol, water.

Suggested Use

Designed for the treatment of external ear infections, such as swimmer's ear, and relief of associated earaches.

Dosage

  • Adults and Children 6 Years and Older: Instill 3 to 4 drops in the affected ear 4 times daily for 5 to 7 days.

  • Children Under 6 Years: Consult a doctor before use. 

Application Instructions:

  1. Lie on your side or tilt your head so the affected ear faces upward.

  2. Gently pull the earlobe upward, away from the neck, and instill the drops into the ear.

  3. Allow the drops to flow down the ear canal and gently massage around the ear opening to aid distribution.

  4. Keep the head tilted for a few minutes to ensure the medication reaches deep into the ear canal.

Avoid getting water in the ear during treatment. Discard the bottle one month after opening to prevent contamination. 

Contraindications

  • Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.

  • Do not use in the eyes.

  • Do not use with ear tubes, after ear surgery, or with damaged eardrums unless directed by a doctor. 

Caution

  • Consult a Doctor or Pharmacist Before Use If You Have:

    • Severe ear pain.

    • Severe hearing loss.

    • Fever. 

  • When Using This Product:

    • Avoid contact with eyes.

    • To prevent contamination, do not touch the tip of the container to any surface and replace the cap after use.

    • Discard the bottle one month after opening.

    • Do not share the product with others. 

  • Stop Use and Consult a Doctor If:

    • Irritation occurs.

    • Symptoms worsen, do not improve within 2 days, or new symptoms develop. 

  • Keep Out of Reach of Children: If swallowed, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
